Black cherry red with a violet edge, medium-high opacity. The nose has aromas of black fruit, roasts, spice, forest floor and balsam. Just opened, the mouth shows tannins that reveal the lack of evolution in the bottle. However, with airing (after 3-4 hours’ decanting), it offers notes of ripe black fruit, with a long finish and a very intense retronasal. A good and different wine (new) in a D.O. where a lot of new products tend to be excessively homogeneous.
