Medium gold, light amber optic. The nose reminded me of a dry sherry, and also showed burnt caramel and some volatile acidity. The very dry plate feel showed rapier-like acidity and a touch of walnut bitterness. It’s a very nice wine if you like this style of wine, which does not really appeal to me. A decent length on the finish but not a wine I warm to. Not sure about a numerical rating, but somewhere between 80-85 points for my palate.
