Tasting at 24 hours open-bottle.-
First of all, the cork had a little bit aroma (2-3/10) TCA, but the reduction was present so,...wait and seek.
I could analyse the wine over 3 hours, 3 glasses 7cl, and it was equal, without changes. At least, I Decided keep the bottle inside the vinotheque until tomorrow.
Today is better....
APPEARANCE
Clean, deep intensity, red and ruby. Not bubbles.
NOSE
A litlle bit hazy, or faulty (2/10) that doesn´t go away.
Notes: Strawberry, jammy, juicy, Dark chocolate, forest.
It is a deep wine, serious, like a Ribera of the Douro.
Developed.
PALATE
The mouth is much better. Good alcohol medium(+), dry, medium -high acidity, medium tannins. So it is medium-young yet.
Medium plus body, but softy in tannins, balanced, not burning, silky, and with some years in advanced.
Flavours medium (+), nuts, dark 90% cocoa, Strawberry, dark Cherry, marmalade, berries, forest, thyme.Finish like a perfect line, or like a Porsche engine. DOux and soft in your mouth. Berries dark and red, more dark in me. Cherry, blackberry, cocoa LINDT90% and Van Houten, hints of Strawberry, and a little bit stony, vegetal and chalky (Graciano grape).
CONCLUSIONS
Very good quality, medium (+) price, from RIoja medium modern, medium classic. Can drink now (because of the cork) and wait for development (ageing).
Tempranillo with medium-high acidity, spicy and deep terroir flavours, with a Graciano companion.
PAIRING
"Asturian" Beef, chocolate sauce, shallots and sweet cinnamon foam.
