As Paco says, it is nothing like the bottle tasted by La Verema some months ago.
The nose is excellent and complex: (bay leaf, mint) and a touch of tobacco. In the mouth it is well-structured, long and fleshy. For a 1998, the tannin is still a little harsh and dry and hasn’t altogether integrated as yet. We’ll have to wait to taste it at its peak (4-5 years more?).
