I brought along this rare bottle to give everyone a glimpse at what Cyprus is capable of producing. Made from indigenous grape varieties and straight from the exotically shaped bottle. A mostly deep red core with a brown rim. The nose is very nutty with VA noticeable but in a positive way to lift the aromas. The taste always seems to remind me of brown sugar, roasted walnuts and the finish is very long. Someone remarked that it reminded them of a hypothetical PX sherry that had been slightly diluted. It certainly made a few friends on the night.
