Cork made of shavings. I don’t like it.
Gold pale yellow with green reflections. Thin dropping that seems glue in the cup...
In the beggining hydrocarbon, but with time it goes away and come tropical fruits, sweet hint, honey, a smokey touch.
Citrics... It smells like if we merge a sauvignon blanc with a gewürztraminner.
It’s bodied in mouth, with an strong sweet accent... but it´s not sweet. Notes of tropical fruit. Despite the sweetness it’s an easy quaff if it’s chilled.
Its soft citric acidity sustain it in the mouth. Medium persistence.
In backnose, fish in the drying sed... cod... roes... ’mojama’ (dried and salted tuna)....
It’s a nice wine, fun and easy quaff. Nevertheless, IMHO it’s expensive for 13 EUR.
It’s been a nice pairing with bonito slightly sautée (just a couple of seconds) sprinkled with a sauce made with soja sauce and aceto balsamico di Modena. I’m pretty sure it’s great with sushi, sashimi, tempura, etc... and with spicy and Asian dishes.
I don’t know why, but I think it’d be nice with the abovementioned roes and ’mojama’
