Raices de Valparaiso 2019

Deep black cherry colour with long, glycerinous legs.

Mature black fruit on the nose, jammy, concentrated and complex. Spicy notes of nutmeg and clove, vanilla, herby with mint, with time a little pepper. All very well integrated, mature balsamic notes. A joy on entry, touches of coffee and inviting the second sip, complex with quite dry tannins, but a lot of extraction, power, tannicity from the pips. A very long finish from a wine which is for long keeping.
