Blind-tasted in a restaurant but I didn’t take notes. Interestingly enough, we didn’t notice the typical Mencía variety on the nose (someone suggested it might be a Garnacha, due to its fruitiness). The most outstanding was how it evolved in the glass. A wine in need of lots of airing and one which evolves continuously. For me, this is the sign of a great wine. Good length, magnificent acidity, which makes it easy to drink. I agree that it needs at least one year more in the bottle before its qualities can be enjoyed to the full. Good line of this winery.
