Opaque black cherry with a purple edge. Very fruity, intense nose. Reminiscent of the toast of the cask and blackberry syrup. The mouth has a big attack but the tannins are sweet and smooth. Good persistence and a slightly bitter finish with a reappearance of the toast of the cask.
