Black cherry red with medium opacity and an edge between slate and purple tones. The nose is very interesting and attractive, beginning fundamentally fruity with a slight bitterness. When it is opened, the fruit is interestingly hidden and it seems we have opened a box of cigars, together with notes of ground coffee, sandalwood and the toast of the cask. The mouth is pleasant, with notable acidity, good structure, medium body, good persistence and an aftertaste that takes us back in time with hints of liquorice. Silky and controlled. Despite everything, I expected more after what I had read in the guides. For €17, a good wine.
