Ver mensaje de joseI think La Bodega del Alcalde (c/Villa de Marin) has the 2002 La Universal Eneas it for 10.80 euros
Ooops.. I think that we are not talking about the same wine...
Ver mensaje de WaltZalenskiHi Walt,
first of all thanks a lot for your answer... but as I say in the`’Subject’ I think that we are not talking about the same wine.
I think that you talk about the wine made by Sara Perez, isn’t it?
Well, this wine has changed its name now and forever. I’m not completely sure, but I think that the new name is ";Dido"; (I don’t know what think about it the famous singer ;).
The wine we are talkin´ about in this thread is Eneas MC from Bodegas Muga. A young wine with a very short number of bottles in the market.
Ah, the name ’Eneas’ was an Trade Mark registered by Muga before than Sara Perez named her wine, so she had to change the name of her wine... You know... too many advocates in the wine world ;)))
This morning I’ve been in Haro, shoping at López de Heredia ;) and Bodegas Muga is almost wall by wall (well... they are in opposite sides of the street, in fact) and they´ve told me that there’s no bottle of this wine ever in the winery and that I’ve to wait ’til next year... and that anyhow there are a very short bottling of this wine... so... hard to find.
Thanks a lot and regards,
Jose
Re: Ooops.. I think that we are not talking about the same wine.
Ver mensaje de joseSorry. I should have been more careful. I think the wine you want can be found at Lafuente - Colmado Quilez in Barcelona.
So the Perez wine has a new name? I think I heard rumors that this would happen. I guess Eneas was too close to Prado Enea, but I doubt anyone tasting the two wines would confuse them.
No worries and thanks a lot for your kind help...
Ver mensaje de WaltZalenskiWell... the wine of Sara Perez according to that I’ve read, Sara Perez has changed the name of the wine... Anyhow, as you say, nobody would have any confussion between them in a taste, but I think that it’d have been a great problem for the dealers...
Regards,
Jose
