Kurt Darting used to be the winemaker at Muller-Catoir until he began to make wines himself. This 375ml bottle showed 9.5% alcohol on the label and was my last one. Rich golden orange with a clear rim. Sharp marmalade, orange liquor and peaches fill my nostrils in an enticing way. Very sweet with several waves of tangy peaches and apricots. Hardly any acidity, this is now fully mature. The soft sweetness is angelic and caressed my palate until I asked it to stop. A wonderful end to the evening.
