I have enjoyed the Chianti Classico’;s from this traditional producer for several years. Here was a chance to try their legendary luxury cuvee (13%). Opaque cherry red, with ripe red plum and a good depth of herb on the nose. Compact body of herby red fruit, good length and this went very well with the steak.
