This bottle had been impeccably sourced by its owner, having lain in the cellars of C.V.N.E. up until recently. No decanting, poured straight from the bottle. Pale strawberry body with a faint orange rim. The nose reminded me of cooked aubergine and sous bois, with volatile acidity lifting up the aromas of dried summer flowers and fine tea leaves. Delicate cinnamon, dry mid palate showing several waves of dry figs, and a respectable length. Fully mature.
