Double decanted about five hours ahead. Opaque cherry red, the structured blackcurrant fruit showed nuances of pencil box. A tight core of black fruits has a layer of acidity that keeps it fresh, and the length is certainly worthy of this wine. It is still very young and, if I owned any bottles, I would not touch them for at least another five years.
