Opaque purple, the usual story of eucalyptus, American oak and brambly fruit. The sweetness of the red fruits were balanced by the acidity and the finish was reasonably long. This wine is still young and needs bottle age. It did not show quite as well as the bottle I drank a few months ago, which was more aromatic and had more velvet power on the finish.
