This was double decanted three hours in advance by its owner. It had been held in storage since release and the provenance was very good. Dark cherry red with no bricking at the rim. An attractive balance of cederwood and dark fruits on the nose. The silky tannins showed ripe fully mature fruits with a positive outlook on the future and a lovely balanced length. A very enjoyable mature claret that still has life in it.
