A lightweight 7.5% alcohol wine, although I understand that this is not unusual for white wines from this region. Lemon yellow, the nose released fumes of subtle petrol and ripe quince. So far, so good. When it came to the palate, the wine was very different to the nose. The almost pleasing sweetness was not underpinned by enough acidity for my palate and was a tad flabby. There was also lots of noticeable spritz that died away after about 30 seconds of swirling. The end result was a dull style that I did not enjoy. Is the spritz a feature of this wine and should it have been there? Either way, it was time to move on. Not rated.
