No decanting, poured straight from the bottle and allowed to develop over an hour. Opaque red plum, rich raspberries and cherries with a little herb and crème brulee. An injection of rich red plums, supported by a ripe and slightly tannic structure. The length is respectable, velvety and shows a touch of soft dryness. The tannins are softer than the last bottle I tried several months ago. There is also a fine streak of acidity that flashes its presence to reassure me that it will help the wine age. Although still developing more complexity, it can happily be drunk now, although it has several years of life in it. 90/100.
