Dark red. Medium/High coloured. Blurry. The trim is a bit clearer. It gives colour to the glass and drops fall just for the gravity... ;)
At first it’s a bit closed in nose. Black fruit, wild camomille... it’s pinot noir! It’s amazing for me that this scent hides the smell of the other varieties of grapes. A meaty hint. Nevertheless, I can’t say what it’s the smell with more presence. I don’t have ever smelt it before :( I only can say it’s very noticeable and pleasant. It’s not floral, it’s not fruit, I do not know what is...
It’s tanic in mouth but it doesn’t come from the wood, i.e., does not leave my gums as if anybody would have kicked my mouth in Picadilly Circus ;) It’s pleasant. Medium persistence.
Without been a great wine for me, it’s pleasant and very good wine to drink in a lunch/dinner (and I think that’s the name of the game). The price is about 8 EUR. It’s an acceptable QPR.
