A difficult choice between onion skin and orange amber, but little doubt it is an orange wine or 'brisat'. A touch of cloudiness.
On the nose you are hit by the long maceration of the whole berries before picking up the glass! Orange, pine-resin, and more than a hint of the old English 'Orange Spangles' boiled sweets.
In the mouth, very dry on entry with a hint of astringency, it has some power, depth, almost an oiliness, round tannins and is well made.
I had the pleasure of taking this for 'homework'. The following day it had developed with a far more intense nose, (sweet toffee fudge) and more depth in the mouth. A wine of two halves though, the nose and the taste!
