La Rioja Alta Gran Reserva 904 2011

Garnet with a terracotta edge, medium bodied with long slow legs.

In aspect it appears an old wine.

On the nose vegetal, that certain touch of venerable age, perfumed, red fruits, floral (carnation), a little leather.

By contrast there is nothing of age in the mouth, it is a youthful wine with fruit jam, preserved cherries, notes from the crianza, creamy, balsamic, tobacco, leather. Good long finish .
