Rioja Vega Tempranillo blanco Reserva 2016

Yellow with gold flashes, clean and bright. Intense.

On the nose the wood emerges first, with vanilla and other spices. Almonds, perfumed white flowers, a sweet note over aromatic notes, curry plant (Helichrysum italicum). 

In the mouth the same wood predominates before a citric acidity emerges, dry and drying, but with later smoky notes, butter and a long elegant, unctuous even, finish. This wine did not evolve over a couple of hours but may well do with time.
