Protos Selección Finca el Grajo Viejo

Second time tasting this wine, the last in late May at the bodega. For me it's personality was confirmed.

Full bodied black cherry, long, very slow legs colouring the glass.

Sweet nose with a certain freshness from the balsamic notes. Mature black fruits, plums, blackcurrant, sloes, with spices. A high extraction which gives an elegance. Blue flowers in the background with coffee, pencil lead and forest floor. 

In the mouth this is very nice on entry, a fine crianza, good fruit, good structure, notes of coffee cream, tobacco and an afternote of the blue flowers after a very long finish. An extremely well made wine.
