Kimera 2016. A good surprise!

Medium bodied ruby red with long legs.

Immediate balsamic notes on the nose, eucalyptus, complex and intense, clean with iron and 'blood', mature fruit, cherry, blackcurrant and fig tart.

In the mouth, cherry, red and black fruits, sensations of 'blood', cream, sweets, vanilla, long with a super fruity finish.

(First Navarra wine from terracotta and interesting to note the effects of iron from the local clay as opposed to chalk and saltiness from Valencian examples.....proof if needed that terracotta adds something different to the wine)
