Montesquius Blanc de Blancs BN Gran Reserva A tale of two glasses!

Pale yellow sparkling wine, goden hints, clean, bright, good mousse.

On the nose boiled cauliflour and cheese rind, apples. However half an hour later the nose was clean, demonstrating clear notes of being a cava, fresh sour dough, biscuit,mature fruit.

Initially acidic, fresh and needed bubbles, but again with the extra time this had developed toasty notes more biscuit, hazlenuts a rich acidity and well integrated bubbles with a final salty note.

Unusual but this wine would benefit from passing to a decanter first.
