Terra Fiter Giro - Give me more of this please!

A deep garnet wine with a terracotta edge, medium bodied, some deposit, long slow legs.

One of those pleasant 'old' wines on the nose, slightly vegetal note, the fruit with sweet notes, notes of leather and evolution, creamy with coffee, toffee, cherries in alcohol, balsamic notes and licorice and eucalyptus.

In the mouth not as old as it looks! Spicy, fruity, those sweet fruity notes are all there with a good weight and licorice. Long elegant finish.

On discovering what it was I remembered tasting it for the first time in July 2017 on a visit to the bodega. Not a variety then that I had tasted much of and this vintage has evolved very nicely. Well worth investing in future vintages!
