Wine drunk at a restaurant after it had been decanted for a good while. What I remember (I didn’t take notes) is its tremendous power both on the nose and in the mouth. In my opinion, it is a fruit bomb, with lots of everything, lacking a little in elegance and complexity, which can only come with time (something I did find in a recent Santa Rosa 96). The mouth is dense, very fleshy with a long aftertaste. It should be very interesting to see how it evolves in the bottle and how so much power is tamed.
