Black cherry, medium-high opacity and purple edges. Intense, attractive and fruity nose but with just the right amount of wood, affording light notes of vanilla and spice. In the mouth, it is attractive, oily, again with lots of fruit, notable acidity and tannins that are still somewhat harsh. Intense and persistent, it will undoubtedly continue to improve in the bottle.
