Black cherry with a purple edge and blood red highlights. Medium/high intensity on the nose, with a foreground of fine wood on a backdrop of ripe fruit (including a touch of banana). It is concentrated, has a good body and persistence with magnificent presence and good sweet and fleshy tannins. A very Mediterranean wine with notes of Mediterranean herbs and balsam, slightly reminiscent of dates and dry figs. Improves with light airing (decanted 30-45 mins beforehand) and a temperature of around 16-17º.
