I find the wine very closed at the attack, both on the nose and in the mouth. Not very expressive until it has been well-aired. Concentrated aroma, serious and seductive, red and black fruit but doesn't expand much, it seems to have started to lose its fruitiness (puppy fat). The mouth is structured, fleshy. It has a persistent aftertaste which is its best feature at present. It performs better in a Riedel Tempranillo glass than in a Riedel Bordeaux glass, which lessens the bouquet. A wine that has, in my opinion, begun to close and it will be interesting to see how it evolves in the coming years.
