Opaque black cherry. Unlike other tasters, I would highlight the notes of minerals, with a notable presence of slate. it also offers notes of fruit and a touch of smoke and tobacco. I’m unaware of the ageing, but I suspect I noticed a touch of vanilla. The mouth is exceptional, with no harshness whatsoever. Round, tasty and persistent with a notable amount of terroir (although I initially confused it with Monastrell – Good Grief!!)
