Passengers to London, please, proceed gate...
Ver mensaje de joseHi all,
a good friends of mine go to London next Sunday and for a week.
She and her husband are wine and food lover (no geeks like us,
but lovers you know ;), so they’ve requested some info about
restaurants with nice wine service and so on.
Can you suggest me some of them?
Thanks a lot and regards,
Jose
P.S. Prices for mortgage payers ;)

Ver mensaje de joseWell, as you’ve heard in ";the other side"; this is quite difficult.... London is an expensive town. Why don’t a ";trip"; to FNAC and have a look on Lonely Planet London .... This guidebook has a lot on interesting information....
London and wine
Ver mensaje de joseWell,
wine prices in restaurants are almost always a rip off in London but there are some lovely places to eat.
I would suggest the rooftop restaurant in The National Portrait Gallery (nice views)
it’s in Trafalgar Sq.
The Providores on Marylebone High St has a restaurant upstairs and a snack/tapas bar downstairs.
St. John (a very popular newish restaurant specialising in offal !) has a £10 corkage charge I believe and your friends could raid some of the very good wine merchants and bring a favourite bottle along.
hope they enjoy it.
