September & October/2015 wines...
Hi all,
here we go...
- Fino Los Seises. Bodegas Williams & Humbert. DO Jerez-Xerez-Sherry (4 EUR)
Vulgar. It looks as if their intention were to have a budget fino for fairs and 'rebujito'.
- Amontillado Viña AB. Bodega Tío Pepe - González-Byass. DO Jerez y Manzanilla-Sanlúcar de Barrameda (9,35 EUR)
It's a crazyness. It's a superb wine for just a bunch of euros. More!!!
- El Castro de Valtuille Mencía Joven 2014. Bodegas y Viñedos Castro Ventosa. DO Bierzo (6-7 EUR)
Hey! It's great to find a mencia wine that taste just this way. I mean it tastes as mencía tastes. A bit herbaceous, slightly wild, youthful. More!!
- L'Authentique 2010. Thomas Labaille. AOC Sancerre (13,2 EUR)
Too much time without drinking these wines! A bit more rippen, less sharp than years ago. Gunpowder and fruit and mouthwatering. More!
- Nicolas Testard 2011. AOC Brouilly (12,1 EUR)
That lovely black-red little fruits aroma of Beaujolais. Unfortunately it's a slightly short quaff.
- Combate 2014. Maldivinas. Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y León (19,9 EUR)
I think that maybe I’m feeling slightly viognerized by albillo real. Maybe I should drink some other bottles to have a proper opinion.
Ample and textured. I miss acidity and something else…
- Le Fief du Breil 2010. Domaine de la Louvetrie - Jo Landron. AOC Muscadet Sèvre et Maine (14-15 EUR)
I feel comfortable just uncorking and feeling that hint of gunpowder that reminds me that toy-guns when I was a child. It goes away in a moment and comes a wine for drinking and drinking and drinking. More!!
- Maximin Grünhäuser Abtsberg Kabinett 2010. Mosel (19,08 EUR)
Full of spicies, herbs, fruits, hints, sweetness, acidity… More!!!
- Chat Fou 2013. Eric Texier. AOC Cotes du Rhone. (10,9 EUR)
I missed too much wines by Eric Texier. Olives, pine-tree, lavender, rockrose… the full countryside. More!!
Regards,
Jose
