This seems typical of Robinson on Spanish wine: her writing is clear and engaging but she never really says anything substantial, or at least nothing that is not well known.

I admit, however, that I have not seen her tasting notes, which may contribute more. I was a bit surprised to see Clos de L’Obac near the top of her list, since I thought that the ’01 showed less of its characteristic restraint. Plus, with respect to Clos Erasmus,
Lo Givot, and Clos Martinet, she seems to be in complete agreement with her recent nemesis, Robert Parker.
