Good vibrant plum colour,even from centre to rim. Long very slow developing legs.

On the nose initially lightly vegetal then fruit, scented soft and complex, then rich fleshy - heady, currant leaves.

On the palate balanced, beautiful full bodied blackcurrant and bramble fruits. Very heavy long rich and full finish with hints of cinnamon.

Tasted an hour after opening and accompanied by turkey and the trimmings half an hour later.
