This wine still has life in it, but is past its peak. It is a blend of Malbec, Merlot, Tinto Fino, and Albillo. The bottle condition of this sample was immaculate, with a fill still at the lower part of the neck. The wine opens nicely in the glass after about 30 minutes, performs very well for about another hour, and then begins to decline. It has a rich garnet color. At its peak, it shows cherry, milk chocolate, and leather aromas. The flavors are rich and seamless blend of sightly dried red berries, herbs, vanilla, and cocoa powder, with good acidity and a velvety feel and finish.
