Of my three Freisas, this is the one I find most congenial. Ot smells like Honey Smacks, blackberries, cherries, dried cranberries and black plums, very clean and direct. Om the mouth it’s fruity, with nice tannic grip and some floral notes in an unexpectedly long aftertaste. This drinks quite well. Of course, it has a lot of stiff competition from the Beaujolais in the $15 range, so I can’t necessarily put it amongst my top values.
