Red cherry, brilliant and clean with salmon rim. Medium-high coloured. When we open the bottle we find slight reduction smells (finally I find them ;-) Red fruits scent, and... a bit of meat?, but this smell disappears very soon and we find only red fruits. In mouth it confirms the red fruits and a very slight astringency. Generally very smooth and silky sip. In backnose we find vanilla and spicy notes (white ground pepper?). Medium persistence. The winery suggest to be served between 16 and 18 degrees. I do prefer 16, because when it’s warmed up we find a strong presence the alcohol... I think it’s an excellent wine to be paired with food and I must admit that this wine is for me the same that "Madeleine Cake" was for Proust. At this time it’s been paired with a tail veal.
