Finca Zuriena 2018

Reasonably intense, pale gold with gold flashes and fat legs.

Interesting aromatic nose, licorice, sweet wood, fruit which declines as the wine is aerated and replaced by withered flowers, dry herbs, quince jelly and a dry chalky note.

Dry with good acidity, it has good weight and length with notes from the soils, oak and at least when first tasted the alcohol is out of kilter with the fruit which is a little lacking. Good structure and time to evolve.
