Viernes de Godelia- Liking the wines from this bodega!

Medium to full bodied bright cherry red colour, blackcurrant/fuschia edge, long slow legs and the look of youth.

Intense red (raspberry)and black (blackberry/blueberry) nose with licorice and more than a hint of carbonic maceration. Cough linctus, stewed fruits,(plums) green peppers, balsamic notes.

In the mouth a good juicy acidity, raspberry, stalks, big tannins. The wine needs time for the tannins to round out but the finish is long with red fruit and a bitter note. A teenager but not the unruly sort!
