Deep red cherry, ruby at edge. Long slim legs.
Initially it has volatility on the nose but with half an hour opens out, with dense, mature fruit, pepper, minerals and notes of liqueur coffee, cherries.
In the mouth juicy, raspberry acidity, good tannicity, a long finish. A wine with varietal characteristics but a style of its own.
