Medium + body, black cherry, long fat legs.
On the nose it needed a good swirl to get some air into it. A little green initially floral, vegetal. It took a good 30 minutes for the fruit to emerge and that spicy Crozes nose to appear.
Acidic and green on entry, hard, cherry and plum only emerging later when that Rhone charm also appeared. Good finish eventually with a coffee cream and spice aftertaste.
