Milan Nestarec’s vineyards comprise of 8-hectares across two wine growing municipalities: Moravský Žižkov and Velké Bílovice.
No herbicides are used and the vines are worked organically. Milan believes that gentle methods of growing grapevines and grape processing gives the best result.
All wines in the cellar are fermented spontaneously and they are usually vinified in oak and acacia barrels.
Orange wine, hazy by natural cold stabilisation, and no filtration and no clarification.
The wine is clean on the nose, fresh and pronounced aromas (apple, fig, apricot). Floral (orange blossom)
Orange marmalade and nuts.
In the palate is dry, high acidity and low alcohol, some malic notes (apple, lemon, orange).
Pronounced intensity with some fruit flavours (orange, tangerine) and caramel. hints of walnuts.
Medium+ finish, stony (calcareus) and floral (azahar), orange and some apricot jam. Not alcoholic not jammy.
Some potential for ageing and you can drink and enjoy now. very good quality, within natural wines may be outstanding.
Very complex, good balance, acidity and alcohol, notes from soils, aerth, stones and soft in oak. All is integrated and the finish is considerable long.
Pairing with Foie gras and turbot orange-meniere like.
