Mahogany colour , thick, oily, with many fat, slow legs.

On the nose this is lush.... dried apricots, peaches, dried grape and  figs, dates, hazelnuts , coco beans and coffee liqueur all blended with fine hints of wood from the ageing. Well-worked, concentrated and with something of the 'English taste' in its style.

In the mouth without being in the sightest disappointing, this didn't have quite the depth the nose suggested. It is dense, fat, oily even with  a lovely fresh acidity, creamy with an unctuous feel. (Now, someone go and get me a good vanilla ice-cream!)
