Opaque black cherry with a purple edge and highlights. Intense nose with a predominance of ripe black fruit in good balance with the wood. A hint of mineral and touches of spice. The mouth is a little harsh although the tannins are sweet and fleshy. Good persistence and appropriate acidity. Should improve in the bottle.
