Absolutely delighted to be able to taste this wine again. As with all great wines, I am at a loss for words to describe the experience. I prefer to speak of its elegance and complexity on the nose 8 hours after opening, without decanting, where the notes of fruit, spice, smoke and minerals fight in vain for predominance. In the mouth, it is fleshy, full-bodied, long, opulent, oily, elegant and still somewhat harsh. I know I drink wines too early, but it is to enjoy drinking them now and then meditate and wait to see how they evolve over the years. After 24 hours open, it had lost its elegance and complexity on the nose, which showed a predominance of fruit and the toast; in the mouth, it is impressive. The worst part, the price: €116. A very sporadic caprice.
