In the Spanish side some people have been very impressed for this wine already (it was bottled on January 2005): https://www.verema.com/comunidad/vinoscatados/vino.asp?vino=10220

I liked the wonderful QPR of Beryna 2002. After all these comments I’m avid of trying that 2003. Walt, it’s funny that you have tried this wine earlier than me, being some thousand miles away...

What is the potential for ageing that you appreciate on this wine?

Beryna is 60% Monastrell. Obviously the warm weather in the Levant is a distinguishing factor between most Spanish Monastrell and certain examples of French Mourvedre, which has a well-established aging potential. On the other hand, serious attempts to make ageworthy wines where Monastrell is prominent is just barely beginning. In any event, this wine would be a great buy even if it lasted only 2 - 3 years.
