Mondo vino?
Re: Mondo vino?
Ver mensaje de suikoWell, yes, at least from the point of view of the director but he’s not the ";main"; bad guy in the film ... Bob Parker and Mondavi also play an important role.... ;-)
Some more information about the film in (mmm, in frech, sorry):

Very interesting, indeed!!!
Re: Mondo vino?
Ver mensaje de Paco HigónIt wasn’t a rhetorical question! I know Parker’s style of wine has its admirers on verema, and was wondering if anyone cared to defend the baddies!
Re: Mondo vino?
Ver mensaje de suikoIn fact, Veremites (Verema -forumites) are more against than in favor of Big Bob criteria.... ;-)
Re: Mondo vino?
Ver mensaje de Paco HigónReally? I’m surprised. How about a little ";naming and shaming"; then? :-)
I mean - where are those Parkerised Spanish wines? I’d be interested to see a list!
Re: Mondo vino?
Ver mensaje de suikoDon’t make me squeak... that a dangerous question.... well, what is dangerous is the answer.... However I will say that at least there are 2 different kinds of “parkerised” wines….. those especially designed to satisfy Parker taste… and those that just coincide with Parker taste….. Mmmm, I do not know if this is clear enough ;)))
Re: Mondo vino?
Ver mensaje de Paco HigónAh, so Paco picó!
Very nicely put! Have you tried Rolland’s Casa Lapostolle wines, and which category would you put them in?
Re: Mondo vino?
Ver mensaje de suikoI’ve tried a couple of Lapostolle wines (sorry no TN’s :( ) and supposedly, Rollan’s wines are made are to please Parker… however the ratings I’ve seen are not as high as one can expect… (usually below 90).
