Almost a year after shopping, just to measure the condition of the wine.

Almost a year after shopping, just to measure the condition of the wine. One year ago the wood was overwhelming, but now it slightly hidden, anyhow you can find toffee hints that disappear leaving it breath... almost two hours of breathing I mean. It doesn’t deploy the huge amount of aromas I said a year ago. Now it’s a bit shy, hidden. Astringency has gone and the tanicity is softer. Oily sip anyway and with a backbone on acidity basis. I was hoping the terciary notes, but there’s none. IMHO, it’s in a milestone. Ready to mute, to improve or to fall down. I don’t actually know. I was thinking that I’d a sort of deception, nevertheless drinking during hours, sunset, reading in silence I’ve almost finished the bottle, so maybe there’s no deception at all ;)
